We got a WII

My sisters and I were so excited yesterday morning to find that the Wii our dad got us had finally arrived. It’s fun, I wish we had other games. My mom and my sisters are out trying to find the wii fit right now, and I’m waiting till it’s around 6:30ish for Aaron to come get me so we can go to bible study. I slept for 4 hours after church, which is a good and bad thing, I feel kinda groggy. Tim Hawkins and Jeff Dunham are amazing comedians. Random I know just thought Id throw that one out there.

The Weddles

So this past week my baby sister Emily and I spent the week at The Weddles house. Their such a great family and I was glad that they let me stay with them. We left Sunday around 4 in the afternoon and we just got home a while ago. I was glad that I didn’t have to spend the time alone in this house by myself. Tuesday we went to see Get Smart, it was pretty good, not the best movie I’ve seen lately but it didn’t completely suck. It was actually really funny I forgot whose the actor that played the main guy but he’s really funny and I love Ann Hathaway. Then one Wednesday we went to Chuck E. Cheese *Were a kid can be a kid* justly named because the kids were having fun blowing through the tokens and getting crap with their tickets. Oh to be as easily amused as a child. Thursday we went to Hawaiian Falls and I got sunburned pretty badly.  Over all though we had a great week.

My Computer’s Not Working

My internet in my room isn’t working. Booo. I hate the connection in our house, it’s never very reliable. I also hate being stuck in this house alone bored with absolutely nothing to do. It’s only going to get worse too. The week after next my mom and sister are going on a mission trip. Which is good for them, but I’m going to be stuck in this house by myself with nothing to do. I’ve tried being creative lately but nothing seems to be working. I feel like I’m stuck in a rut. I just want to get out of it.

Naps

I just woke up from a great nap. I was so tired this morning that I was snapping at everyone. I felt really bad about snapping at everyone but I was really tired. My dad woke me up around 7 with donuts. We went to church around 9:30ish. He stayed at the house and left around 12. I hate seeing him go, but going to church and leaving before he did made it a lot easier. I know that he’ll be fine and safe over there. He won’t be able to call until Tuesday when his plan lands in Afghanistan. After church my mom took us out to eat at Super Salad, I don’t like that place very much. The food wasn’t that great and it took the lady forever to bring us our drinks. Tonight around 6:30 I’m going to bible study. We’re starting a new study on becoming a contagious Christian. It should be fun, then we’re going over to the leaders house to hang out.

Chinese

I’m so glad my dad didn’t have to leave today. Yeah! He leaves tomorrow around 12 while we’re at church. My side has been hurting all day. We went to go eat at Asia Bowl my mom’s favorite Chinese restaurant around 3. They’re food is really great it’s probably one of the best Chinese restaurant’s in town. Then we went to go see Kung Fu Panda. It was a really cute movie. The panda was cool, my favorite line was “There is no secret” it was pretty inspirational. The panda ended up beating the bad tigers ass. Haha I’ve had such a great week with my dad being home.

Tears

Last night we had fried fish and mash potatoes. We also watched a good movie called Stardust. A love Sci-Fi movie about a falling star, It was really good. This afternoon we went to the military base to try to get ID cards only to find out that the place was closed and we wasted gas. Gas prices are outrageous right now and it’s a good 20 minute drive out to the base. For dinner we had grilled corn and pork chops. Then played skipbo. So that’s it for my fun day lol. My dad leaves tomorrow to go back to Afghanistan, tears. I hate to see him go, but I’m so proud of him for serving our country.

I’m Full

Last night we went to Ghengis Grill with the Weddles. It was an amazing restaurant, it’s a Mongolian grill in the Arlington Highlands. Then we went to borders. For lunch today we went to Red Hot & Blue, one of my dad’s & my favorite restaurants. They serve the best barbecue. We’ve been eating really great all week. It’s nice compared to the regular eat whatever you can find in the fridge I’m used to with my mom. I’m already worrying about the week that my mom and little sisters leave to go on the mission trip. Simply because I’m going to have the house to myself for a week and have nothing to do. I’m planning on painting my room that week. I always worry about things way to early in advance and then they turn out to be fine. I’m just afraid I’ll be too bored and do something stupid. I’m so full right now, I feel like I’ve gained about 10 pounds this week.

I see

So today I got to spend quality time with just me and my dad. It was great! We went to eat at the Chinese buffet and then went to my psyche appointment. After that we went to get my eyes examined. I hate that little machine they have that blows air into your eyes. It’s always so difficult for me to keep my eyes open long enough to get the air to actually go in there. I could tell that the ladies trying to help were getting impatient but it’s really not my fault that I’m so jumpy. Then we went to CVS to get my prescription and I got new foundation and face wash for my Nutrogena Wave. After we left CVS we came home for a little bit and then went to pick up my sisters from school and then we went to Wallmart. The new Wallmart they built on little road is really nice and clean. Which is really rare for a Wallmart.

Yawn!

I didn’t go to bed until around 3 in the morning and woke up around 10am. We chilled at the house until 1. My sisters awards ceremony was at 2. It made me remember my awards ceremonies as a little kid and how I use to feel like it was a competition. It felt like it took forever, which it did because of all the awards they handed out. After the ceremony my dad took us out to get ice cream at Brahms. Then we came home and grilled chicken and my dad made home made mashed potatoes. I found out how to get you tube videos onto my ipod. It’s really cool except I have no idea what kind of videos or anything I want to put on there yet. I just wanted to see if I could because its a cool feature. I put beck’s – hell yes on there. Well, I’m off to bed -Yawn-.

My Early Birthday Present

We went to the military base and my dad surprised me by getting me my birthday present early. An 8GB Ipod Nano that I’ve been wanting for a long long long time. My old one disappeared and I was lost without it. I’m so glad I have a new one.
